Laxapet Gel 100g

A palatable mild lubricant and laxative gel. May aid in the elimination of ingested hair (hair balls) in cats. Softens faeces when used two to three times a week. It contains Paraffin 400mg/g.

Precaution: Prolonged use may induce vitamin deficiency in some animals. Use a vitamin supplement as preventive medicine (see wellbeing essentials)

Suggested dosage for cats: use 5g (10cm strip) daily for two to three days, then 2.5g (5cm strip) two to three times a week.

Note we would recommend considering probiotics, oils (fish oil) and natural fibre supplements. Hip pain could be involved with constipation and many cats that vomit furballs have inflammatory gut lesions, so it may be worth booking an appointment. Herbal medicines can be beneficial for a lot of pets suffering these issues.
